Saba is a landscape architect and the curator of East Van Boulevard Gardens, an Instagram account that uses boulevard gardens as a framework for lessons on environmental education, urban literacy, and community building.
This project began as a personal Instagram account to document and share photos of every boulevard garden he saw. Demands for a boulevard garden walking tour soon followed, which led to Saba organizing and hosting annual walking tours that have attracted hundreds of attendees. These tours have garnered local and national media attention and have raised thousands of dollars for a local non-profit in his community.
