There is a simple solution that would drastically reduce carbon emissions and increase biodiversity right at our doorstep: by redesigning the conventional lawn! My proposal is to create a toolkit featuring 11 landscapes that can be used in place of the lawn, comparing their costs, environmental impacts and social benefits, with the goal of influencing scalable small changes toward a more sustainable future.
