Adam grew up in central New York surrounded by the Finger Lakes, waterfalls, and gorges that make up the region. His love of the outdoors and natural waterways made him a lifelong environmentalist and his desire to make a difference led him to study watershed planning at the University of Maryland, College Park. He now works for the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore where he has led the Healthy Harbor Initiative for the past 12 years. Projects Adam has led include the Mr. Trash Wheel program, the Great Baltimore Oyster Partnership, and the Baltimore Blueway.
