Charmaine Dahlenburg holds a master’s degree in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University. As Director of Field Conservation at the National Aquarium (Baltimore, MD), she has 20 years’ experience implementing community-based habitat restoration efforts, stabilizing sand dunes, and restoring tidal and non-tidal wetlands throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed. She has been part of the planning and design committee to implement 8,000 square feet of floating wetland technology in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, an initiative to create a green district and working ecosystem along the post-industrial waterfront.
