Jeanette Ankoma-Sey, PLA, is a Landscape Architect at Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation, managing and supervising park and play improvement construction. She plays a key role in site plan design reviews and contributes to County policies and design guidelines. With over 20 years of experience in private and public sectors, she focuses on functional planting design strategy solutions. Jeanette was faculty in the Sustainable Landscapes Program at George Washington University, teaching planting design, ecology in urban landscapes and urban agriculture/edible productive landscapes. She holds a BSc. in Horticulture from Virginia Tech and an MLA from Cornell University.
