Dr. Sohyun Park is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Park's scholarly work explores the complex relationship between natural and human systems, focusing on the health of ecosystems and communities. Dr. Park is the recipient of ASLA's inaugural national research grant for Landscape Architecture Solutions to Biodiversity Loss. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Design and Planning from Arizona State University, a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, and a B.S. in Biology from Korea. Dr. Park is also a certified SITES Accredited Professional.
