Dennis E. Bryers, FASLA, CLARB, PLA, is a Landscape Architect with over 45 years of experience in the private and public sectors of the profession. He has been employed as a Park & Recreation Planner for the City of Omaha Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department in Omaha, Nebraska since 1993. Prior to that, he worked for two, private landscape architecture firms in Connecticut. He is a graduate of the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry with a Bachelor of Science of Forestry (1977) and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (1978). He spent 15 years on the Nebraska State Board of Landscape Architects (2002 – 2017), with 13 of those years as the Board’s Chairperson. He also served on the CLARB Board of Directors (2008 - 2014) and as the organization’s president in 2013.
