Valeriia Tolkacheva is a landscape designer based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with an MLA from Florida International University. She is passionate about finding nature-based solutions to the problems of climate change.
After several years of working abroad for international design firms in the field of urban design, she now works for a Florida-based firm, designing sustainable public parks and spaces.
She advocates for the protection of Florida’s National Parks as part of the Young Leaders Council of the National Parks Conservation Association in the Sun Coast Region. She is also currently pursuing her landscape architecture license.
