Partners in Public Design
Thad is the founder of Partners in Public Design, which uses the power of design to mobilize communities for positive transformation. He is also the managing director of Columbia University’s Center for Resilient Cities and Landscapes, which brings networks of global expertise to communities on the frontlines of climate change around the world. Thad worked for 14 years in New York City government on resilient infrastructure and community recovery and rebuilding. He has a Masters in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and was a Loeb Fellow (2014-15) at Harvard University.
