John Moreno has been the City Manager in Paramount, CA since 2015 and has worked his way upward in a variety of positions - serving as Assistant Public Works Director, Assistant Public Safety Director, Public Safety Director, Community Development Director, Administrative Services Director, and Assistant City Manager. As Community Development Director, his work focused on economic development which culminated in 2017 with the large-scale redesign of Paramount's downtown district. John holds a bachelor's degree from UCLA in History, and a Master of Public Administration from USC.
