Carl Giegold could be found haunting construction sites at age seven, earned a Bachelor of Architecture with honors from Virginia Tech in 1982 and found his way to acoustics in 1995. He’s carried design responsibility for many performance and educational spaces in the United States and internationally. He has presented his work at conferences held by the Acoustical Society of America, the Institute of Acoustics in the UK, the American Institute of Architects, and the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture. He has lectured architectural and acoustics classes at RPI, Virginia Tech, The University of Illinois, & Cambridge University.
