Ben Turpin is an urban planner and landscape architect in the National Capital Planning Commission’s Physical Planning Division. His work includes urban design, planning, and landscape architecture projects across the Monumental Core as well as resilience and climate adaptation planning within the capital region. Prior to NCPC, he worked as a planner at the USDOT’s Volpe Center and as a landscape designer at Stimson Studio, 3north, and Yosemite National Park. Ben holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech and a Master in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
