Michael Stachowicz is the Project Manager for the National Park Service's (NPS) Washington DC golf courses. This project will rehabilitate the historic golf courses, restoring the cultural landscape, increasing connections to the surrounding communities, and improving conditioning. Previously he was Program Manager for the Training and Maintenance at NPS's Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation.
He started his career in the NPS as its first Turf Manager at National Mall. There he worked on the turf restoration project for the Mall, the largest turf rehabilitation project ever undertaken by the NPS. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.
