Greg De Vries, Managing Partner at Heritage Landscapes, guides inclusive heritage-based stewardship and integrated nature-culture design for meaningful community development. With extensive work in historic places, Greg brings broad knowledge to scores of Olmsted firm landscapes, National Historic Landmarks, National Parks, State Department properties, and World Heritage Sites. Decades of practice in the capital region include projects at Capitol Grounds, National Mall, and St. Elizabeths West Campus. Greg serves as an expert member of ICOMOS-IFLA International Scientific Committee of Cultural Landscapes. Holding degrees in landscape architecture, cultural anthropology, and Spanish he finds meaning elevating the stories embedded in all places.
