This course will provide a foundation of water feature design and functionality to understand how to create beautiful, low maintenance fountains.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify which questions landscape architects should ask during the pre-design phase of projects.
  • Familiarize oneself with the different types of building materials used for the basins shell.
  • Understand the pros and cons of a submersible pump versus a remote pump systems.
  • Learn about different filter and sanitization equipment and which will best meet the needs of your project.
