Join us as we explore public spaces designed by and honoring women while learning about our capital's history in DC's Penn Quarter neighborhood and central business district.
The event is free and open to all registered conference attendees.
Attendees should bring earbuds or a headset as you will join this Zoom webinar link at the start of the walk to hear presenters throughout the walk.
Participants will meet outside of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center at the northeast corner of Mount Vernon Place & 9th Street NW. Please arrive in advance of a 7:00am departure time.
This 2.0-mile (+/-) walk will include stops at:
CityCenterDC 1100 New York Avenue National Museum of Women in the Arts Planet Word Franklin Park Black Lives Matter Plaza NE Corner of L St & 16th Midtown Center
The walk will end at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
